A Snowy Engagement | Amanda & Johnny

After a long day at the Times News Bridal Showcase, I was off to Garret County to meet Amanda and Johnny at Swallow Falls; a place I’ve been dying to return to since 2014. Many moons ago I second shot an elopement in this beautiful location – it was a challenge being in the business less than a year and also learning to how be a second shooter it wasn’t easy.

Returning to this beautiful location after years was so exciting! There was a thin blanket of snow on the ground, a chill in the air, the sun slowly descending in the sky. We met at the beginning of the trail and made our hike into the falls.

Everywhere I turned there was just something more and more beautiful for me to photograph, light was leaking through the trees golden light was everywhere the snow bouncing it on Amanda and Johnny it was absolute magic everywhere I turned.

Amanda and Johnny led me to the place where he proposed a smaller fall in a more intamite private location. It was absolutely beautiful the sun was shining and casting a beautiful orange glow behind them. I kept falling in love more and more and as we explored further we found some little snow men someone made on the trail. Every moment was just perfect.

Thank you so much to Amanda and Johnny for choosing me to  be to one to capture your special day and your engagement! I can’t wait to work with you guys more! It’s been a blast and I had so much fun hiking through swallow falls with you both!

Happy Easter Everyone!
